Email Campaign: Keep-Corker-in-Tennessee
On Tuesday, January 31, the Main Street Journal will host the first of the U.S. Senate Debates. Ed Bryant, Van Hilleary, and Jeff Moder have all agreed to debate the issues before the voters of West Tennessee. Bob Corker has declined West Tennessee.
Flashback: December 29, 2005: Press Release: Corker to Boycott U.S. Senate Debate
Last week, Mr. Corker announced that he will instead attend the State of the Union address in Washington D.C. A Senator belongs in Washington D.C. on January 31. A Senate candidate belongs with the voters. Though we neither support nor oppose Mr. Corker, or any candidate, we simply ask that Mr. Corker would choose the voters of Tennessee over the politicians and lobbyists in Washington D.C.
If you believe Mr. Corker should be talking to voters in Tennessee on January 31 instead of rubbing shoulders with politicians and lobbyists in Washington D.C., say something. We ask that you take one minute and email his campaign, simply asking that Mr. Corker stay in Tennessee where he belongs on January 31.
You can email Mr. Corker at bob@bobcorkerforsenate.com, or call him at (423)-756-1994 . . . nothing changes unless you make your voice heard!
