U.S. House District 9 candidate Tom Guleff made friends with a handful of anti-Bush protestors standing across the street from the Peabody on Saturday afternoon. Guleff had also prominently spraypainted his website address on a building off Union Ave., so most delegates would see it on their way downtown for the conference.
Another District 9 candidate, Derrick Bennett, introduced himself to blogger row in the exhibit hall on Friday night, where he was rewarded with an impromptu donation from Alphapatriot. Bennett also wanted to know what a blog was, though from the looks of his campaign website, he’s fairly web-savvy already.
Mark White (bottom left), also a District 9 candidate, served on the SRLC host committee and took charge of operations in the exhibit hall.
Tenn. House Rep. Brian Kelsey ran into Sen. Sam Brownback during a reception for Senate candidate Ed Bryant.
Tenn. Sen. Mark Norris spoke with Pastor Andrew Jackson after Saturday’s afternoon general session.
Tenn. Sen. Republican Leader Ron Ramsey could usually be found visiting with supporters in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel throughout the conference.
U.S. House District 8 candidate Rory Bricco made his way through the exhibit hall on Friday morning.
Perennial Tenn. Sen. District 29 candidate Terry Roland (center) seemed chipper at the close of the Friday evening general session.
